The Beyond Borders Book Collective will be meeting on 25th March at 7pm for a discussion of ‘The Dance and the Fire’ by Daniel Saldaña Paris, translated by Christina MacSweeney.
The Dance and the Fire is an atmospheric Mexican novel about three friends who return to their hometown where an intense love triangle left a mark on their childhoods. As wildfires begin to surround the city, they must face up to their pasts and the looming, all consuming hysteria that is building up in the town around them.
