In July the Beyond Borders Book Collective will be reading Geetanjali Shree’s ‘The Roof Beneath Their Feet’, translated by Rahul Soni.
Shree won the International Booker Prize in 2022 and this Indian modern classic is a feminist text about roof spaces that provide freedom from the male-gaze and patriarchal society. We are excited to read and explore a book translated from Hindi, so do join us on 15th July at Juno Books.
